Today we took a moment to stop and REFLECT on the learning we had done over the last three weeks.
We completed a Reflect organiser in our home rooms and then got together as a team to compare our discoveries.
We all agreed that the purpose for the Inquiry was to try and find fun and safe ways to improve our playground.
We learnt a lot about how to be safe in the sun, what to do in case of a fire, how to ride our bikes safely and we also learnt some new games to play.
The teachers asked us "So now what?"
We decided to hold a special celebration to re-open our playground.
We decided to invite Pa Jack to come and be our special guest for the blessing.
Since we were inviting Pa Jack, we knew we needed to find out about the Maori protocols for having such an occasions.
We asked Mrs Mercer to share her knowledge with us.
