OUR OLYMPICS INSPIRED FRIDAY

On Friday, we had a focus on the Olympics.  We watched a NZ row their way to Gold and then we learnt all about the Ancient Olympic Games.  The teachers put information sheets around the classrooms and we had to use our study skills to go and find out some facts about the Olympics.  Our teachers were very impressed with how well we were able to do this.  Once we had found out four different facts we were able to choose one that we would like to publish.  When you are next in Piako Rua, pop into Wonderland and you will see some of our fabulous work.  We also had an Olympic poem to illustrate.
