The Lost Monkey

One stormy winter night a baby monkey escaped from the great oak tree. It was morning when Mumma Monkey realised he was gone.  She searched the forest. Suddenly, she heard a crying noise. She quickly rushed up the tree and saw him on a rusty old bridge. The little monkey was terrified! When he looked down the bridge broke and fell onto a branch. He was so relieved. Mumma Monkey had finally found her baby! "Hold on I will find a way to get you up. Grab this green vine." "Thanks Mum" said the little monkey. "That's okay, I'm just glad you're okay." "Yes, me too." The End.
