LEARNING PARTNERS

This week in Wonderland, Mrs Lunn videoed us peer assessing our Handwriting.  Our buddy has to assess our work and they help us to REFLECT to see if we have achieved our learning intention.  They provide us with feedback on our work and feed forward for ways to improve it for the next day.

JUDGING AT HANDWRITING

The children that do Handwriting in the Rainbow Room have been all issued with a new Learning Intention.  This is so they know what they need to focus on when they are practising their handwriting.

We then judge our work against a set of criteria.  Here are a couple of photos of us a judging and a photo of Mingmae's beautiful work.

A SNAPSHOT OF FRIDAY

Fridays are always busy but fun days.

Here are a few photos for you to see what we have been up to.  We illustrated our poems.  These two photos are of the children after we had finished judging our work against the Success Criteria for Illustrating poems.

What gorgeous illustrations kids!

This is Sean.
Our Genius Hour focused on being Creative, and Sean made this awesome little mouse (and a bow tie for himself).  Clever Cookie!

At Piako 2 Whanau, we had some very Creative children who put on a puppet show for us.
The other kids loved it.
It is great to see so many of our children enjoying the opportunity to develop their creative skills.
